UPDATED! Player Evaluations - Now February 5th!

Save-the-Date! Player Evaluations for the Spring 2022 baseball season will be held on Saturday, February 5th at the home of Oxnard Youth Baseball, located at Eastwood Memorial Park, 1401 N. F Street in Oxnard. The Board elected to push back the Player Evaluation date due to field conditions and schedule conflicts with other sports leagues, and to provide additional time for registrations.

Times and locations are as follows:
Shetland (6U): 9am on Shetland Field
Pinto (8U): 11am on Mustang Field
Mustang (10U): 1pm on Mustang Field
Bronco (12U): 1pm on Bronco Field
Pony (14U): 11am on Bronco Field
Draft (For Coaches/Managers Only): 4pm

Participating in the Player Evaluation day helps to introduce players new and returning to their respective divisions, coaches, managers, and player agents. Player Evaluations help coaches to evaluate the starting point for each player's ability to hit, catch, and throw. That helps us to build competitive and fair teams. Attendance at Player Evaluations is not mandatory,. If a player is unable to attend, they will be assigned randomly to a team through a "hat pick."

Players should dress comfortably and bring their own glove, helmet, and bat. When selecting a bat for your player, please keep the PONY Baseball Standards in mind. For more information, visit USA Baseball Bat Standard.
